Every year since 1990 and it's only 15 mins from my house. Spoiled now, I won't do GA and always score some Greenskeepers or get tickets to one of the corporate tents. It's amazing how much it's grown and the Thunderbirds put on a great event. If you get the chance definitely go, some of the best people-watching!

This may be a dumb question but how do they mark the spot for people who got stopped mid hole?

Generally you just put a couple tees in the ground where your ball was.

Have seen some takes on social media that the event went from fun party to shitshow level this year. They weren’t even scanning tickets so there were a lot more people that usual.

They really should have started round 3 while the last few groups of round 2 were on the course. Selfishly, my kid was napping right at the end of round 2 so it would have been nice to have more groups on the course

I know the cut implications and all that but that’s a lot of time between the last guy at 16 and the next to the leave hammered drinks with idle Hands.

was there when Sam Ryder aced on a Saturday one of the best sports moments I’ve ever witnessed in person. It’s a great event and some great public courses to play at as well.

Yea the 16th stadium is cool as it's one single hole in one tournament, but seeing the coverage yesterday and the gallery chirping and booing all over the course kinda ruins it.

The number one player in the world just putted off the green into a bunker. Nuts.

Seeing multiple videos of players and fans chirping at each other.

Thinking we’ve reached peak WM. Just becoming a sideshow at this point.

Pretty good leaderboard right now with a ton of players in contention.

4 major champs in the top 10 plus Young, Burns, and Theegala

at people that tried to talk trash about the “bad leaderboard” after 1 round

I agree. But when you encourage the party atmosphere killed that, it’s bound to happen

This isn't the UFC. There's no reason for spectators to be running their mouths at players while they're swinging a golf club. If they want to hoot and holler at 16, no problem, on the rest of the course they should act like decent fans.

Wasted Management Open is all over tik tok. The videos have been pretty good I’m not going to lie

It’s gotten out of hand though. PGA is going to have to limit the alcohol sales or something or players are going to start opting out since the madness is carrying over to other holes, not just 16. Players don’t need to deal with jackass fans.

Burns with a nice eagle. LFG Sam.

The PGA is dead with LIV poaching the stars. There won’t be interest in anything other than majors
