it appears the rain has FINALLY passed completely.

time for the party to get started. JT, Scottie, and Sam Burns all look like they'll have a shot at a top finish

Has anyone here ever been to this event? If so, is it worth it?

Anyone that has ever fully immersed themselves in the festivities can’t remember the experience.

Yes. It’s a lot of fun with a group but different than other golf tourneys in both good and bad ways. Considering the amount of people the folks that put on the tournament do a tremendous job IMO

Yes, it was awesome. I am too wash up to stand with the people now but I’d jump on an opportunity to get a box.

Use to work for a company based in PHx who has a suite and went annually. Really cool, relaxed, party atmosphere. Especially the stadium hole. 16 I believe.

The crowd looks amazing

Really cool atmosphere and a nice change from the stuffy and smarmy crowds that are normally at the events on your

I actually took a red eye back last night after going yesterday. I was in town for a conference and had a friend offer me a suite pass on the 16th. Even with the colder/wet weather it was a blast. I am not sure I would have enjoyed it as much if I had general passes, no way I would get up at the crack of dawn or wait hours just to experience that hysteria now that I am older.

Whoever came up with the idea to embrace the crazy and turn 16 into what it is is a marketing genius. Turned a random tournament into a bucket list item for many.

The GA section is one collective bachelor party

The vibe is overwhelmingly positive for as aggressively drunk as everyone is getting

Event has turned into a shite show. They had to shut down general admission and suspend alcohol sales

Its an absolute blast if you pay for one of the club areas. They'll have open bars, food and bathrooms. Went 2 years ago and bought greens keeper passes for Sunday and GA tickets for Saturday. The crowd is insane, so lines for drinks are a mile long if you just go general admission. Sunday, we actually ended up getting hooked up with passes to a box on 16 so we stayed there all day. Free food and open bar. Had an absolute blast. Even got to see a hole in one

Not surprising with the rain delay leading to a doubleheader on Saturday

This may be a dumb question but how do they mark the spot for people who got stopped mid hole?

It’s one of the top sporting experiences I’ve ever had. TV probably doesn’t quite do it justice on how much fun and wild it is.

Have seen some takes on social media that the event went from fun party to shitshow level this year. They weren’t even scanning tickets so there were a lot more people that usual.
