Jordan Spieth is solid

Spieth, Rory, Justin Thomas all have a CHANCE to be top 10 golfers ever, probably.

I don't know about Brooks. Hitting some injury problems, and will likely never be able to tally up enough overall wins because he doesn't care about anything but big tournaments (although he does have 4 majors).

DJ will probably end top 20 maybe? He'd have to really go on a tear in the next 10 years and rack up 2-3 more majors and 15-20 more wins in order to approach the top 10.

Watson is clearly ahead of Phil

This but his nemesis was the PGA where Phil's is the US Open.

Plus he outdueled Nicklaus to win four of his majors (77 Masters, 77 Open, 81 Masters, and 82 U.S. Open). How many times did Phil outduel Tiger to win a major?

I believe he will but it would have helped him if he could have closed at least one of those U.S. Opens.

Top 10? Mickelson is a top 5 golfer of all-time.

Probably, he’s very similar to Tom Watson IMO. 6 more wins, 2 fewer majors, more top 5 and top 10 finishes in majors.

Which of those above do you throw out to put Mickelson in?

Trevino. Same number of majors but Phil has 45 wins vs 29 for Lee.

Umm...
Woods
Nicklaus
Player
Hogan
Hagen

Not sure which one of those guys you bump out for Phil.

He’s on the Watson/Palmer level.

I mean he ranks 12th all time in major wins (and would tied for 7th if he won one more) , and 8th all time in PGA wins, so it’s hard to not see him as a top-10 players, especially considering his career coincided with Tiger and all of those near misses in the one major he hasn’t won.

Watson doesn't have any of Phil's personality. That shite matters. Arnie is so beloved bc of his personality combined with his wins.

There shouldn’t be any doubt now. Yes, Phil is top 10 ever.
