Will Lamar Jackson ever make it over the hump?

I feel like Lamar is a great player, but can’t make it past the stacked AFC to get to the Super Bowl. In a conference with Burrow, Josh Allen, Mahomes, and up and comers like CJ Stroud, it’s gonna be even more difficult.

Do you think he will ever make it?

Not sure he’s ever going to have a team as good as this year’s was. He’s just not a great QB.

No.

He’s not good at the quarterback part of playing quarterback.

I think he will. The Ravens are a great franchise that'll continue to put a good team around him. I think he'll get one.

Much worse QBs have made the Super Bowl and the Ravens continue to kill it in the draft.

The play calls made in the KC game arent what he does best. I wouldn’t give up on him just yet. Not many can beat Reid and Mahomes though.

If the Ravens don’t try to throw the ball 37 times in the AFC championship and instead run the offense that got them to the AFC championship, they are probably Super Bowl champions today.

Problem for Lamar is they’re not going anywhere and Mahomes is only 2 years older

This was the best year to get KC too

I don't think he does. You don't get faster as you get older and he hasn't worked on his decision making. He relies on his athleticism which works at times.

Best chance to upset the chiefs is the QB who scored 24 against that defense in the playoffs. He just needs his defense to not collapse in the playoffs

I made the point after the conference games that the Ravens lost because they gave up on who they were and the Lions lost because they wouldn't give up on who they were.

2 MVPs won't get you very far in the playoffs if you have a 75 passer rating.

I'm still surprised how on a 4th and 1 I think it was in the 1st qtr Lamar burst through the line but got caught from behind. A couple of years ago he would've scored a TD.

Its 2024 and some have a vested interest in this guy failing for some reason.

2 time NFL MVP QB isn’t a good QB.

Things said on the MSB.

Mike Vick was better toward the end of his career throwing the ball. I don’t think that will be the case with Lamar though.
