No one is a bigger Steph guy than me, but no they won’t

And I wouldn’t say KD is delusional. Based on everything we’ve seen prior to this point in the league, it’s completely rational for him to believe his would be similarly easy. He’s in a very unique situation where he’s not as in control as he normally would be and I don’t think he expected the nets to push back on it. Now most of that is a result of his own decision and previous use of his extreme leverage so I certainly don’t pity Durant in all this. I just can certainly understand why he would think he could get what he wanted if he asked, because that’s pretty much how it always works for players at that elite level

but he is 34 now.

if he was still a lock to be that elite Pels fans would want to give up Zion plus picks for him. Look on the Pels board. they don't

That’s one way to frame it.

He should sleep in the bed he made. Great scorer, giant weenie d-bag who couldn't pull off a ring by himself.

LeBron faked a broken hand

His hand was definitely broken. He punched the wall (like an idiot) in the locker room after JR Smith forgot they were in a tie game and dribbled the clock out. He also played one of maybe the 5 best games anyone has ever played in Finals history that night.

No it was sprained at best. “Pretty much a broken hand”. Only had a cast on because it was leaked (but definitely NOT by Klutch, okay)? No surgery, never brought up again.

Like his phantom elbow injury in 2010

It’s always an excuse for you Bron guys. Y’all are like CNN

Did you not watch the 17 Finals. Crazy arse Durant grabbed the rebound took up court LeBron picked him up and Durant nailed the shot in his face.

The defending champion “best player” couldn’t stop the “2nd best player” on his homecourt when it mattered most. Durant shot …what when LeBron guarded him…like 70% for the series?

But this 5 year old news.

Both of them are pretty much done, albeit KD has more in his tank as title contending player.

The nets should move heaven and earth to bring in a good coach right now.

The Cavs outscored the Warriors in that series when LeBron was on the floor. That series was quite literally decided in the 5 minutes a night that LeBron was on the bench.

I can't stand him and think he is a moron, especially politically, but I also don't let my views of him off the court judge what I think of him on it.

Nah

Durant is built like a stick. Hes older now and that won't translate well. Hes doing this trying to get every last drop, before the year begins. My guess is he misses a lot of time thru nagging injuries as his body reminds him of his age and how fragile he is.

Plus, yes hes retarded

Every last drop of what exactly? He’s locked into a 4 year fully GTD contract

Of trying to force other things to get on a top team. What you mentioned is EXACTLY why that won't happen.
Hes locked where he is, by HIS design, and now he wants to blame others. Same shite as any other place he's played.

The Warriors have proven they are as food or better without him. Hes NOT the missing sauce for anyone to trade for his salary.

he's 34. my left Achilles said No mas at 34. he's already had tendons go.
he makes a fortune and if you get two great years out of 4 you are fortunate.
I could see gsw doing it because if they can get 2023 championship that's one more in the bag. by 2024 none of the gsw elite core is a sure thing to play 55 games at what used to be their 100%. if they get 2023 in the bag gsw mgmt will be trading green with one year left on his deal.

all in mid 30s.

The Nets reportedly asked Boston for Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown initially when opening up trade talks centered around Kevin Durant, per @AdamHimmelsbach
