So did I and most others.

2. You have to take calculus
is this true, I can't believe the masses of athletes there can pass calculus ?

auburn, florida state, and clemson all basically count as in state competition.
Not really but Clemson cannot compete w/out Georgia and Florida kids but I still don't see them as "in state competition"
It's like saying UGA and Bama are "in state competition" for Florida since they pull so many kids out of there.

You’re not exactly Leo DiCaprio either home boy

Players have to be able to read there - it's not every other SEC school not named Vanderbilt
Fixed it for you. Having a bunch of football athletes whom you don’t care if they ever learn anything in the classroom ain’t exclusive to one program.

Explain how Chan Gailey was fired then.
Because he choked away games against Georgia and never beat them. Tech is also content winning 1 or 2 of every 10 games against Georgia. Chan couldn’t do that.
Go 7-5 and beat Georgia once or twice every 10 years is about all they expect.

Pretty much nailed it.
And Paul did that and then some. I hate Tech but have the utmost respect for CPJ. The guy can flat coach

The 1999, 2000 and 2001 games between Georgia Tech and Clemson were probably 3 of the best I've ever seen. Those games were always barnburners in the days of Joe Hamilton and Woody Dantzler.

I remember in 2010 they came to Lawrence ranked like top 15, and somehow we beat them the week after we lost to North Dakota State

Reggie Ball could barely pass for a quarterback

I have no idea what Calvin Johnson was thinking signing with GT knowing Ball was the starting QB.

ech is not the flagship university in the state of Georgia. It's not even the 2nd highest in terms of enrollment. Both GA.State and Kennesaw State have more students than Tech
Recent numbers put KSU first at over 40,000 with Tech and UGA just behind

I mean we have a terrible HC and an awful AD. It’s really as simple as that

Well, he definitely couldn’t count to 4 during his time at Tech.

Stansbury single-handedly kept the Dawgs out of the playoff a few years ago, so frick that goofy sounding, Canuck douche.

I think him and Collins both get canned after this year. Hopefully Pastner too. It just cannot be stated enough how bad our HCs have been.
We don’t have the alumni/$$$ like UGA does but I know for a fact we had enough people committed to buyout Collins after last season and Stansbury said no.

I think Dan Mullen would be a very good hire for Georgia Tech

They pulled a Nebraska and got away from option football. So now they are like most spread teams with mediocre athletes…they suck.
