I fully believe that if The Hill (Tech's admin) were given a choice to either go fully all-in or get rid of football, they would choose the latter.

From what I understand this is correct. The current powers that be at Tech simply don't have much interest or put any emphasis on the sports program. I don't think they really care

Which is fine, but I'd rather they pick going all-in OR drop sports entirely. What currently exists isn't sustainable.

2. Outside of USC no college teams seem to do well in major cities.

Washington has done pretty well I think. Pitt has also had it’s moments lately and seem to at least be a consistent bowl team under Narduzzi now. UH and Cincy are G5 but are arguably the best programs at that level.

I know the academics are tough but GT should at least be making bowl games pretty regularly

Who the hell is doing the scheduling over there? They already have a Georgia thrashing locked in the non-conference schedule, so why are they playing another SEC program clearly better than them then going to one of the tougher G5 programs?

If they hire Deon from JSU / They would be a regular ACC contender in 2-4 years

I really don’t think Prime is a serious candidate at any Power 5 school unless he wants to cut out doing his Barstool Podcast, toning down his how free he is with the media, etc.

I think the answer for Georgia Tech is Jamey Chadwell or Jeff Monken. They have to do something different with the situation the administration puts them in for support, and the fact they have to play Clemson and Georgia every year

Georgia Tech has a solid history. They are 25-20 all time in bowl games to go along with a National Championship. They have been to multiple Sugar and Orange Bowls. GT can be a player again with the right fit

Yeah their days of being relevant in football are over.

Stansbury(the AD) is likely to get shite-canned also.

If Todd isn't gone first, there is no hope (he's the one responsible for Gee-off's golden contract).

With conference realignment, I wouldn't be surprised to see COFH (Tech-UGA) gone as an annual game before the end of this decade.

I'm calling it now: GT fires Collins before December and replaces him with a PJ disciple: Jeff Monken(Army), Ken Niumatalolo(Navy), or Brian Bohannon(Kennesaw St.).

Say what you will about GT but year after year we have one of the toughest schedules (Clemson/UGA we play every season) and that includes playing the dogshit acc coastal most years

Mullen would average at least 8 wins a year at GT.
