I think this is it for me. I have no reason to dislike the Celtics, but I never find myself rooting for them. At some point I realized it was because, as good as Tatum and Brown are, they both come across as lame cyborgs.

I generally dislike teams that get played up by the media too much based on some long gone history. The whole LA - BOS thing is exhausting.
Not to mention Boston has been winning in everything the past couple decades so y'all could use a decade or two or inferiority across the 4 majors.

Love the Celtics. Jumped on the Bird bandwagon in 1981 at the tender age of 9. They are the only NBA team I watch or keep up with anymore.

Easy... Magic, Jordan, and Lebron... all three had rivalries with the Celtics.. seeing as these are the most popular players from the last 40 years it makes sense... the new Celtics not so much

I remember rooting for Boston against the Lakers in the 80s, and this black guy asked me if I was a Cowboys fan. I said hell no, I hate them. He said he thought all Celtics fans were Cowboys fans, too.
