Doing basic maintenance in 200 years is an upgrade

I'm shocked anyone decides to live in such an absolute disaster

The Superdome is fine. At least it’s a structure that lasts unlike the Falcons and Braves stadiums that have to be rebuilt every 20 years.

The Braves built Truist and The Battery where they did to be closer to their STH base. And it has paid off in spades.

Blank built MBS(though a gorgeous facility) as a money grab.

Two completely different situations. And the Braves are one of the most well-run organizations in all of sports. The Falcons.....Well...

It’s a pretty cool venue. You may have some bias showing.

Have not been in a few years but it still looks good on tv and I like the lighting. Not sure that helps. I am sure those that are able to go to games may feel different.

I went since the latest revamp and it looks pretty good, they hide the age well.

Do you think maybe the fact that the NCAA / nfl keep having their things here reflects that you’re an out of touch hick and people want to visit here? I hate to break it to you, but the sports media loves coming here and doesn’t want to be saddled in Harlan county.

I was just there watching LSU go 15-0. It was a perfect stadium experience.

No one I talked to tonight had any comment on the Superdome, but fricking loved New Orleans.

Apparently it's one of the worst venues for huge sporting events.

Are you really trying to tell it was awarded the final four because of the facility? Did you see the shite show of a layout? The players sitting 2 feet below the court? The seats behind one of the goals?
WTF was that?

It's a horrible venue but seems to be grandfathered in because of history and the city itself. Its time to move on.

Are you really trying to tell me if the venue was located in Kansas City it would be getting any big events? C'mon

There's a reason every single dome built in the 70's and 80's has been torn down EXCEPT for that dump in New Orleans.

The sports media loves going there is maybe the worst example of how a city is in the world.

Its F rated across the board in all of its education. Poor. Has horrible infrastructure. Is a bottom dweller of a place to be. Crime rates off the charts.

But at least the sports media wants to go there. You sold me.

Sorry, is the the final four or the fricking scrips spelling bee? Sorry you had to watch from your trailer. Next time Calipari makes it past the first round, I’ll be sure to send you a post card.

Most locals say it’s fine, but it’s way behind other modern stadiums. Way behind.

Issue is, money lost & where would the Saints play for the duration of demolition & construction of a new pad in the same spot. They could add a ton of state of the art features that they cannot currently do with the dome
