Also, minorities aren't being oppressed in the USA in 2017. I've lived abroad and seen actual ethnic oppression. Nothing here even comes close to that.

Hell oppression in NWA is not the same oppression as in say Dallas, NOLA, LA. But it is still oppression in some form.

nobody in the United States is oppressed. We have free will here, you can work as hard as you want, as many jobs as you want and move up. That isn't available anywhere else. Poor people here can easily make $20k a year if they go pick up a minimum wage job and just do the bare minimum, let me know what doing the bare minimum gets you in the middle east or in africa. It is ridiculous the support you guys just blindly give the poor. Upward mobility is available to anyone who is willing to work for it in the United States, plenty of minorities thrive there, but to say we have oppressed people here is laughable. We have a whole lot of lazy people, yes, but nobody is oppressed. We dont have dictators slaughtering villages and we dont have people starving bc they're working so hard they cant feed themselves.

I think this whole kneeling thing is stupid, but people can take action in support of others even if they haven't experienced the exact things they are taking action about. Of course, it would be better to take an action that actually accomplishes something.
