Why are so many stadium going NFL fans such trash?

I've been to several hundred college football games, including many heated rivalries and in that entire time I think I saw one actual physical alteration and maybe 3-4 heated shouting matches.
Yet it appears that brawls are almost a given every single NFL game.
These are grown men, probably in their 40's and 50's and yet fighting in public at a football game. Without fail, almost every week, new videos like this appear all over twitter.
I also can't get over how fat and gross every single person in the shot is. Pretty much every single grown man wearing a player's jersey too.

College at least pulls alumni.

I used to go to the Raiders v Chargers every year in San Diego. Eventually, it got to the point that I no longer felt safe bringing my family so we stopped going. I've seen some brutal beat downs.

Back in the day, Deadspin would run some brutal NFL fight videos. The best was when the Rams played their first game back in LA. It was preseason, so every scumbag could afford tickets

Anything to do with college is too fancy for these types so they kind of self segregate to the NFL for the most part

Kind of surprising in this case. The wife and I took our young kids to Cincinnati for a week and everyone was so nice. It was a very friendly city.

Never been a real big NFL fan but I’ve been to a couple of saints games through the years. The amount of fights that happen was astounding to me. Always middle aged dudes in jerseys. It’s like that’s what they go for. Like a pro sport fight club
