Yes except change the word “blacks” to totalitarian leftists and you’re exactly right.

Because a bunch of black millionaires are overly sensitive and white people kowtow to nonsense.

Sounds more like a Silver problem and less like a player issue. Who sits around and worries about these types of semantics? Some people just can't help themselves, they maintain a full sprint to hurry to be offended.

What do you expect from a culture completely dominated by women? Feelings will always win out over logic and reason.

So you didn't want the real reason to be the reason, so what did you want/think it to be??

Reason for what you are asking: Weak minded people, are weak.

It's a commonly used phrase and you're the one that looks racist for immediately equating it to black dudes

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is an example of a prominent player that has recently spoke out against the league's previous use of the word owner. "You shouldn't say owner,"
This is a situation of appearances being more important than reality. Started seeing it in my office in the 2000's, after all of our managers spent a week in Atlanta, and had "Communications Training". A few months later I had to waste a week of my life going thru the same communications training. The 1st thing they told us was sarcasm is a bad thing that should never be used in a professional setting.

Most companies haves owners. When I was working, and had an occasion to introduce the owner I worked for, I always told people she was the owner of the company. Why should that bother me. Why should she feel ashamed to own the company?

The world was a better place when we could be honest with each other.

I saw the same thing happen in the mid 1990s.

But I honestly don't see how this is any different than any other group using their leverage to force issues, whether it's a Bud Light or Tesla boycott (minus the actual property crimes).

That's how things work no matter your political persuasion. Whether it's a case of the squeaky wheel getting the grease or something with broader support, who knows.

You can change the name all you want but they still own the franchise. So they’re technically owners.
