Who's coaching?
Duncan/Kobe have 10
Shaq/TMac have 4 (I think, don't believe TMac has any)
Guess I will take Duncan/Kobe.

Of all the hypotheticals I like this one. I'll go with Shaq and McGrady

Pop with Duncan
Shaq and Phil.
We always hear about Shaq carrying Kobe, so if you split the two up and replace their partners with respective peers...who wouldve won more?
Of course I omitting Duncan and T-Mac(as a duo in their primes)....but imagine Duncan's Spurs playing with an all time great like Kobe.

Kobe's personality wouldnt fit with the Spurs. Pop would run him off quick.

TMac was a black hole and never won anything. First group.

Correct. The two guys who were better for longer.

Tmac was a black hole? I seriously question whether you've watched nba basketball or do you merely pull stats off the internet. T Mac was a pretty unselfish basketball player.

Duncan/Kobe
Although they would probably hate each other as teammates, they'd make it work

I actually don't think that would be the case. The one thing Kobe always had beef with were players who didn't any sort of work ethic. That's never been the case with Duncan. I think Kobe would've gotten along pretty well with both him and Pop.

I like what you are doing, but your options are shite.
This is Kobe/Duncan, and it isn't close.
Kobe - Duncan or Shaq-Iverson?

True story, Kobe made zero players better that played with him.

Is T-Mac gonna take care of his body this time?
Posted on 7/22/15 at 8:16 pm to RonBurgundy
What makes Duncan so good is his longevity and consistency. His peak isn't as high as Shaq's.
Shaq at his peak was downright dominant.
Kobe and McGrady are very similar players at their peaks.
I think at their peaks, and all else being equal, Shaq and McGrady > Duncan and Kobe.
