LINK

Interview is in the link. Listening to it, it almost sounds like he is just toeing the line, so that he isn't burnt like so many other people right now. Not sure why he had to bring up Pat Tillman though.

Brett has FU money.

He can easily afford to say FU if he wants.

Again, once you're in the frick you money world, you can say whatever you want and most of these people pursue the celebrity community.

Why? Because he’s a white guy from Mississippi?

Seems kind of racist bruh.

Comparing Kap to Tillman is a VERY bad comparison.

One literally gave up everything

It could just be that's what he believes?

Some of you seem utterly shocked that the rest of the world doesn't agree with what you agree with.

Tillman lost his life defending Americans of all color.

Brett wasn't exactly a guy that did everything he was told to do when he played. It doesn't surprise me that he would respect guys that went against the grain. Tillman and Kaepernick both gave up their careers for what they believed in, there's no denying that. Obviously Tillman gave up way more than that, but Brett wasn't comparing who sacrificed more or whose cause was better.

All those concussions he took are coming back to haunt him.

Just how many brain cells does one have to lose to believe that is a favorable comparison?????

Defending us from what exactly? I don't remember a single terrorist on us soil being from Afghanistan.

9/11. The terrorist themselves may have been from SA but Bin Laden was in Afghanistan and assisted with the planning and financing with Al-Qaeda who was rampant in Afghanistan. Obviously my post wasn't about Afghanistan, it was about people who are in the military and willing to go to war.

I disagree wholeheartedly with Iraq and to an extent, at least regarding going after the taliban in Afghanistan.

So did Drew Brees. It may hurt to hear this, but money is not the measure of a man.

Makes sense Favre would admire people that gave up the game of football (whether Kap gave it up or not is a separate issue), considering how football was the drug that Favre couldn’t quit. He wanted to quit, he retired twice (three times?), and it pulled him back in. To the point where he was looked down on for the constant offseason drama of whether he would come back. But the dude really couldn’t handle hanging it up, so I can see why he would respect people that would hang it up for something they see as more important
