Well 2002 can’t be right. Miami couldn’t win a 2 team playoff much less a 4 team one

If Miami and Ohio State play 10 times in 2002, Miami wins 8 of them.

2002- USC would not have made a 4 team playoff

They were ranked 4th in the final BCS rankings. They absolutely would have made the playoff if one had been in place back then.

1990 - Miami..They were the hottest team down the stretch and killed Texas.
1991 - Washington..sneakily one of the best teams of the decade
1992-95 stays the same with Bama, FSU, and Nebraska.
1996 - Ohio State..a bit of an upset pick here. They essentially played 1 bad game that year.
1997 - Nebraska..no way Michigan stops them.
1998 - Ohio State..this year wouldn’t have needed a playoff, but I think they win if they get in. Tennessee barely escaped FSU with Outzen at QB.
1999-05 - no change. It stays with FSU, OU, Miami, OSU, LSU, USC, Texas
2006 - LSU..hottest team at the end of the year.
2007 - no change. Still LSU
2008 - Texas..they should have played in the title game as it is.
2009-10 - stays with Bama and Aub
2011 - LSU..maybe in an alternate world 21-0 doesn’t happen.
2012-13 - no change.

The loss to Tenn was the turning point to our season that year. We were hotter than any team in the nation and playing lights out. We also beat a Kentucky team who whooped LSU by two scores

yall were good and all but this is so stupid.

we beat kentucky by 2 scores and yall lost to them.

would have been a great game. georgia fans are not going to back down and neither are lsu fans (they shouldnt). complete waste of time. im down to argue on the internet over meaningless shite, but this one is a waste for both sides.

In what world did Kentucky "whoop" LSU?

Cute try though.

Georgia was without a doubt the hottest team in the country ending the 2007 season. They destroyed 4 ranked teams and won 7 straight to close it out.Georgia lost to Tennessee in October 6.

Remind me again, how many losses did LSU have after October 6, 2007? Oh that’s right - two. Oh, wait, there’s more - both of LSU’s losses in 2007 were to teams that finished UNRANKED in the AP poll.

That’s rich of you to pull out the transitive property when Georgia beat the 8-win Kentucky team LSU lost to.

LSU backed into their 2007 national championship and would have been pulverized by Georgia had they met in the SEC championship game.

Pure and simple. GTFO.

Georgia was without question the hottest team to end 2007, but a two loss LSU team (who lost their final regular season game) somehow beats them? Give me a break.

+1

Georgia’s last loss in 2007 was on October 6.

LSU lost two games after October 6, to two teams who didn’t even finish ranked. LSU’s 2007 championship is a sham.

UGA’s streak as “hottest team in the country” includes a 3 point win over Vandy and a 10 point win over Troy. Hawaii isn’t exactly an impressive win either. UGA “pulverizing” LSU is nothing but speculation. LSU played for and won the natty, UGA got left out because they couldn’t win their own division. 14 years later and you’re still melting.

Hawaii was undefeated and had the greatest passing offense of all time at that point. This is demonstrably false.

I guess you’re ignoring Georgia’s domination of Florida and Auburn teams. Lol. Oh and Georgia beat Kentucky, something the trash Tigers couldn’t do.

LSU’s best player was out for their losses and UGA didn’t “dominate” us. It was a 5 point game in the 4th quarter.

They were the only undefeated team left from that wild and wacky college football season. Georgia was playing the best football in the country by the end of the season. Had Kentucky managed to upset Tennessee at the end of the year (which they almost did), I think it stands to reason Georgia defeats LSU in the SEC Championship Game with their starting QB out for the game.

Most of them the 1-2 would end up in the title anyways.

I do think in 06 LSU wins as we were red hot at that point.
