Our fans are top 3 dumbest in terms of sports knowledge in America. They’d rather more personality fit than more victories.

Ive noticed this crosses over into Louisiana politics as well. We'd rather crooks with personality than a serious person with real world accomplishments.

I think Rhule is a really good coach, but similar to Aranda I think a school like Baylor is a better fit for him. He doesn't strike me as a guy that wants to put up with the bullshite you have to at auburn.

More of a let this guy operate how he wants and he'll win games, not amswer to some idiot booster who thinks he could coach the team

I think Rhule can handle the spotlight and boosters much better than a guy like Aranda. He's had to deal with Panthers ownership and the NFL spotlight.

I also think he could recruit pretty damn well at Auburn and would win faster than a guy like Harsin (who I agree is a "take 4-5 years to build" guy).

Freeze is just the right amount of sleaziness and beating Alabama that Auburn is looking for.

I think we all agree on this.

Can't discount the same thing for Urban, though.

I just don't think Urban wants that smoke anymore.

Freeze is dumb enough to jump right into that fire and I think he'd have success doing it.

Speaking of, Urban needs to go to ASU and just have a new co-ed every night and win 10 games a year for the rest of his career.

Matt Campbell is a fantastic coach who has turned Iowa State into a legit contender in the B12. Let me repeat that - he's turned Iowa Freaking State into a contender. He's better than anyone Auburn will end up getting.

I had a 5 game parlay resting on Auburn's shoulders this past weekend. To watch Harsin call a game is like watching a cow try to drive a tractor. You just marvel that they made it this far.

Deion will try for the Ga. Tech job and if Meyer doesn’t take it he’ll likely get it.

Unless they can get Urban? Likely.

He'll still be a disaster on the plains.

He has one 9 win season. Campbell is really good coach, but let's no overstate his accomplishments.

Another program builder and not a guy that wants to do the booster and recruit car washes that it takes to be the man in the SEC.

Look at Mullin, I don't think he's a bad coach, but he doesn't have the stuff to be the head man in a league like the SEC

Because he could make double that at Allburn

Harsin is making roughly the same as Fleck now. Gus was making more but not double, not even close to double.

i mean....coach O was about the best fit LSU could have, saban prolly the worst fit...which one was better?

BK is a terrible so called "fit"....would you rather O or BK?

So much of the criticism of Harsin is that he doesn't "fit".

If you look back through my posts here, you'll see I have been very positive toward Kelly, but I also know of him from his days at Grand Valley State.

Terry Bowden will return to Auburn after ULM wins the Sun Belt.

Look at the contracts the last couple of years. The auburn coach is getting $8-10 million

He pulled Mississippi St into relevancy. Maybe Florida wasn't the right fit for him but he's definitely got the stuff.
