Since everyone knows Harsin is dead man walking, who will the Aubs go after next?

Does the Kevin Steele crowd get an 'I told ya so'

Does Sankey allow Freeze back in the SEC?

Or is it 2004 all over again with Bobby Petrino bringing the Healey to the Plains?

Either way, This one will be fun.

I’m sure cases will be made for the likes of Primetime, Kiffin, and Freeze.

All of a sudden, Rhett Lashlee or Kevin Steele will get announced as the HC.

Freeze would do some damage at Auburn.

Read this however you want. It works either way.

God help them if they hire Steele

I’d push for PJ Fleck, if not him then Mark Stoops would be a real solid, albeit unsexy hire

Dave Doeren would be interesting.

No reason whatsoever Auburn shouldn’t be able to hire a sitting p5 coach, coordinators and g5 coaches are typically huge gambles.

Auburn COULD hire anybody they want. But I'd fully expect them to frick it all up and get someone like Steele.

Auburn could be the number one job open on the market this year, but no one out there screams "the guy" for this cycle.

There's some G5 head coaches that I think could have success at the P5 level in Chadwell, Arroyo, and Fritz, but I don't think any are ready for an SEC job either.

It'll be interesting for sure

If he’s not ready now he never will be. He’s 62 years old

Y’all get so mad when these schools ‘recycle’ coaches, yet that’s exactly what you’re doing here

How would any of those be a recycle? None have ever been fired as a head coach and Auburn would be a promotion for all of them.

Fleck and Stoops are names we’ve been hearing involved coaching searches for a decade (at least it seems that way)

Stoops is the defensive version of Harsin. He'd be fired within 18-24 months.

Auburn needs a big personality who may or may not be crazy.

What?

It's not recycling if the coach is advancing.

Both are in better jobs that can match any money AU would offer. Why would they make that move?

Dude I hate Auburn, but Auburn is a better job than Minnesota or Kentucky.

Auburn won a natty in 2010 and made the title game again in 2013. They have the ability to be a playoff team.

Sure, if you're looking for stability or not having to deal with the craziest boosters in CFB, Minny or Kentucky can be better, but they have a defined ceiling. Auburn can be elite
