After thinking over this for 10 seconds.... Might just be Rex Grossman. I'm guessing coaches don't qualify here. Otherwise, that dude east of here, who like many of, if not most of us, probably had at the top of the favorites about 12 years ago or so. Ironically enough, I once had T.O. at #1 for most hated, before he signed and played for Dallas.

There needs to be a distinction of on-court vs. off-court. I find that I often hate or love a player based on one of those things, disregarding the other.

For non felons—-Bill Lambier. Guy has a bush league style of play. He slid a foot under you when you took a jump shot, hoping you would twist an ankle on the landing. Not to mention the tackles , elbows and every other cheap shot he could take.
