Pops was old at the end of his career.

I remember when Bob Lillis was managing the Astros.
As far as players, Luis Aparicio is the earliest one I recognize, so about from the mid-60s on that list, downward.

Nolan Ryan, I imagine he is the answer for anyone born in the 80s considering he played til 46 years old.

Bobby Shantz and Roy Face

I am in my 50's, for me it would be Jim Kaat and Carl Yastrzemski, who both retired after long careers in 1983. They are 87 and 86 currently.
Same here. Thought it was cool that my dad had Kaat's rookie baseball card with the Twins in 1960, and as an 11 year old I had his last baseball card with the Cardinals in 1983. I remember Manny Mota as well.

Interesting that he, Bob Skinner, Bill Mazeroski, and Vern Law all from the 1960 Pirates World Champion team are all still alive in their 90's(well, Maz will be if he makes to to September. The rest are mid 90's). Pretty cool

I loved those early 70s Orioles with Jim Palmer, Brooks and Frank Robinson. So probably Boog Powell.

Nolan Ryan is the most notable.
But Tony Perez and Tommy John were older and still lingering around albeit nothing special apart from the famous surgery and being part of the Big Red Machine.

In the 80s, it seemed like Gaylord Perry and the Neikro brothers were going to play forever.

My take is the op is asking who is the oldest still living MLB player you remember seeing whether in person or on tv. Not the oldest player who was still playing. I will go with Kaat as well he's 87

Jamie Moyer - and maybe Phil Niekro?

I didn’t realize that.

1960 series maybe one of the all time upsets

I remember Kaat being on the 82 Cardinals. He had a good postseason that year.

Sandy Koufax I think is one of very few Brooklyn Dodgers still living

I remember him pinch hitting for Pedro Bourbon.
(Figured someone would beat me to it)

Bartolo "big sexy' Colon was like 42-43 when he hit his first home run as a Met.
I was jumping up and down and I don't like the Mets.

I’m pretty sure Micky Morandini was 50 his entire career.
