Forgot about Cro Cop (who was exposed in UFC by the way), but we can still go from 2005 to 2010. Mark Coleman was old as shite when Fedor fought him (born in 64). Mark Hunt had just lost to Barnett in 2:30 minutes right before he fought Fedor. He did much much better against Fedor. He is also 17 and 9 on his career. AWESOME!!!

A.Silva walks around at 220 and has a LHW frame. his natural fighting division should be LHW. he's been ducking the extremely competitive LHW division for a long time. A.Silva is bigger, stronger, and had significant reach advantage over everyone he fought in MW.
Fedor almost always fought fighters bigger than him.

at one point cro cop was pushing close to 240. but most of his fights he was 230 or under. he could have cut the weight like many other lhw's do if he really wanted to

Cro Cop weighed around 225 most of the time I have seen him fight without much cutting, just getting in fight shape. He could have got 20 pounds off just for the weigh in. IMO.

I agree and disagree. A completely out of fighting shape Anderson probably is around 220, but an in between fights Anderson is probably 210 and cutting 25 lbs isn't hard to do. Anderson has a LHW frame and fights at 185, no big deal.

Silva is 2 inches taller and has 3.6 inch reach advantage, but I'd take Fedor in his prime.

Fedor is one of the guys I actually think could have benefited from coming to the UFC. He could have used the cage to secure take downs and being able to use elbows on the ground would have been nasty.

That's because he's nearly 40 yrs old. As we all know its WAY easier to gain weight as you get older.
IMO Anderson is fighting in the division that best suits his frame.

You have to remember Anderson fought quite a number of fights at 170 lbs. Do you honestly think he was cutting 60 lbs?

I was just pointing out that Cro Cop isn't "Much Much" bigger then Anderson. Silva could fight at 215 maybe even 220 and be in fight shape. I agree MW is the place for him to be a superstar though.
