Ruth is debatable considering he never faced middle relief or players of color.

no but he did play when the mound was higher and pitchers could do all kinds of shite to the ball and get away with it with relative ease. He also played blacks in the offseason barnstorming tours and kicked arse there too.

Why do people always try and argue against a players time period? All you can do is judge a player based on when he played. Why? Because no one knows how said player would do in any other era and no one will ever know because it won't happen!

Babe Didrikson won medals in track in the Olympics and won major events in golf for two decades. She set US records in track and field in more than one event at a one day track meet.

she was the original beast mode

She was diagnosed with colon cancer in 1953, and after undergoing surgery, she made a comeback in 1954. She took the Vare Trophy for lowest scoring average, her only win of that trophy, and her 10th and final major with a U.S. Women's Open championship, one month after the surgery and while wearing a colostomy bag.

Jordan easily.

I don't even care for basketball and I tuned into every one of his games..

Beyond the talent he was iconic and the ultimate competitor. He was so great he left the sport in his prime only to return and go right back dominating. Pretty remarkable.

He absolutely a top four Rushmore selection. That much I can for sure say.
