Why can’t she speak about that?
Because when you speak out and decry privileged people when you yourself are privileged, you come off looking like an idiot. Oprah does the same damn thing, talking about white privilege from the throne of her multi-billion dollar media empire.

He needs to write one on Mike Golic Jr next.

Exactly. Hell, the only reason most of the dorks are defending her in here is because she's a woman

Lol she locked her twitter account

Because Whitlock and Travis’ lemmings we’re harassing her.
It’s nothing to be proud of or impressive

Sorry Whitlock, you get more opportunities when you’re hot. It’s been that way since the beginning of time.
That's kind of his point, he is butthurt over the hot, woke people force feeding anti-privilege bullshite down viewers throats when it's exactly what got them there in the first place

Katie Nolan probably blew Bill Simmons and a couple other ESPN executives. Secret to her success.

“The only thing he takes down is cheeseburgers.“
Check your privilege racist.

That's beside the point and actually reinforces arguments against her and Katie Nolan's position. A black woman who came from nothing was able to amass a multi-billion dollar fortune through hard work and dedication. A systemically racist and sexist society wouldn't have allowed that to happen.

Love that he triggers snowflakes like you exposes your lack of self awareness and hypocrisy lol. Whitlock is the GOAT.

she's very likable. just talentless
But her main talent is that she IS likable. VERY likable even, as you yourself have pointed out. I think that’s a pretty unique talent, honestly. And in her Twitter response to Whitlock’s 1st article—which was pretty benign considering—she even seems ready to agree with him about women having to be both good/competent AND attractive in that business. Or at least the tv part. Now, does she think that’s a bad thing or just part of the deal? Who knows. But I think it’s pretty clear she is very aware that her looks have contributed to her success.
I actually love Whitlock. Not because of his politics or even his prose, necessarily, but because he’s one of only a handful of people not afraid to call out blatant hypocrisy, which is typically a loathed offense in all parts of life. And I think he’s spot-on with all his points in both columns about people benefitting from privilege hypocritically calling out others for benefitting as well. I just think he was unnecessarily nasty towards Nolan, and he seems to have done himself a disservice as his good points have been drowned out by this “controversy.”

I used to follow her weekly segments on guyism.com
She was young, cute, funny and would be brutally honest about her life, friends and her attempts to claw up the media ladder.
It's a shame she has not been able to further develop herself for larger roles at prominent companies

Being JUST a whore can only take you so far. You need talent to actually play with the big boys/girls. She clearly doesn't have the talent required to reach the next level. However, it wouldn't surprise me if ESPN gives her a live gig after this spat between her and Outkick.

She is a hott woman who probably blew the right person who influenced the right people. She is talentless. But so are half of your c-suite executives.
She didn’t get where she needed to be based on her talent that’s for sure.
She is a young whore who probably blew somebody and she looks great for casual viewers on the TV. The end.

Are you serious with this?
Don’t you proclaim—or pretend—to be a Christian on one of these boards? Your passionate hatred toward this woman you’ve never met betrays you, as you, with it, betray Christ.

Ehhh
Oprah is good at her job and was ambitious, talented, and lucky enough to succeed at an extremely high level.
But, like other billionaires she enjoys massive advantages that dwarf the typical "privileges" people talk about. Typically, sex or race, as well as the important privileges people commonly enjoy but don't talk about (beauty, intelligence, health, physical abilities, emotional intelligence). Other than health (especially healthspan and lifespan) enormous wealth is more broadly and personally impactful.

Whitlock, for better or worse, is throwing haymakers while working for Outkick.
He has full reign to go after anyone, and no CEO going to pressure him, he is all in as part of Clays company.
