Golf is not a sport.

Red Rover.
When they call you to ‘come over’, it is an assault on your manhood.

Any sport or position where everything relies on one person such as kicker or baseball would be higher
Basketball and football are much more team oriented

Golf, every shot.
Basketball, trying to hit free throws at the end of a game.

Penalties at the end of a soccer match is the most pressured situation among the team sports
But the right answer here is golf

Baseball. Every at bat is a battle. Even if batter beats pitcher, there's a defense there to (likely) stop him. Every guy on the field has to understand situational decisions to be made with every pitch.
Golf is very hard. It requires you to be clutch in tough situations, but with no defense to face and no athleticism required, I'm hesitant to put it on that same level as baseball or maybe even basketball.
Our personal preferences will obviously have us all thinking differently but I don't think there's really a wrong answer in this thread.

I would say sprinting requires insane levels of clutchness. You train year round for a competition that lasts 10 seconds or less. False start and you don't even get to compete. One misstep and the race is lost. The margin for error is counted in milliseconds. Track and field is full of events that require you to do everything perfectly to succeed. Gymnastics is similar.
Not sure why this got downvoted. All sports have varying moments of “clutchness”
Like you said for a gymnast to know that they basically need to be perfect and not have a single misstep or wrong grab seems extremely clutch to me. Having one shot at essentially the perfect routine seems tougher than the result of 18 holes.

I'm just pleased with the amount of people calling golf a sport. Seems edgy people love to say it's not one.
Eta: I should have read the thread. I see there are some edgy people here.

Golf (10 footer to win a million dollar prize), basketball (free throw with the game on the line), baseball (last batter with a chance to win), kicker with a 35+ yard FG to win.
I'd think those would have to be up there as far as being pressure packed.

Golf is way closer in athleticism required to baseball than baseball is to basketball

Has to be golf. It’s literally all on you to perform.

35 was my high school range with reasonable confidence.
my order
golf
basketball
soccer penalty kick
fg
baseball is ruled out because no one bats close to 1.000. expectations are much higher for golf, fg, hoops.

My son got one attempt this year and missed from 38. He thought he was money from 40-in, but apparently he just overcooked it a bit. It’s a humbling aspect of football. He can make them all day...but in the game its just different somehow.
Soccer pk for anyone but a true striker. They should be able to blast it by a goalie.

You really shouldn't try discussing things you know nothing about.
