Gymnastics and golf. Really any individual sport.

All the pressure is on you to perform. There is no help or scheming involved.

10ft putt to win a million, but at the same time if you miss youre still winning 500k. as much money as those guys get, im not sure money is the biggest pressure factor anymore.

True. I was thinking more along the lines of myself or a guy just coming on to the professional good scene. I guess I should have clarified myself in saying making that kind of putt for your first professional win. And to those types, 500k is still a lot of cash riding on one difficult putt.

Baseball and I'm not a big fan of the sport. Getting the big hit, making the big pitch, turning the double play, etc.

I would say any sport where it is up to you individually.

I remember during high school I was a shotputter. There was a monent where I had the opportunity to qualify for state. I was the best thrower on my team, and they all depended on me. I knew the distance I had to throw, and everyone was gathered around all staring at me. I remember in that moment, I had more nerves and anxiety in my bones than I did in the most intense moments through my football career. Long story short, I was definitely not clutch, and my last throw was well well short of the qualifying mark

At least in football, 4th quarter, 1 minute left. You know if you happen to frick up, there are 10 other people out there who has yo back. Individual sports the pressure is all on you. Not everyone is built for that moment.

Race car driver in qualifying, the precision required at high speeds to lay down an inch perfect lap is just another level of focus
