Which sports league has become the most pussified in recent years?

The NBA, NHL or NFL? For me, it's easily the NFL. Pretty much every rule change has favored the offense. If a defensive player hits a QB a millisecond after the whistle or an inch out of bounds, they get called for a personal foul. If they even touch a QB on the helmet, it's fifteen yards. A DB isn't allowed to touch the WR after five yards unless they're looking back at the ball. It's ridiculous.

They still retaliate by throwing baseballs at guys' heads in MLB?
Then that is my answer, lol.

Definitely not the NHL. Minor suspensions handed out after a pretty major brawl. NFL has got to be the one with all this shite with hitting the QB.

I'm just surprised that pussified is kosher in the title.

Didn't Clif Lee bean some guy last spring?

Not sure.
I just think it's laughable that if a guy disprespects a team in anyway, like standing to admire a HR or whatever, that not one of the 25 players on the other team do anything about it as he's disrespecting them.
But all of a sudden, an hour later when he is at the plate, he gets a ball thrown 90mph at his head.
And this is just accepted practice cause "that's just the way they do things."
Call me crazy, it just seems like the biggest bitch move ever and they all do it.

out of your choices, the nfl by far. when the nfl reviewed that push by suh a week after the game and still fined him, it really illustrated where the league is heading.
but the ufc really tamed down a lot of their rules over the years. not "pussified", but made it much less violent/barbaric for the average viewer (no more soccer kicks to the head of downed opponents, gay elbow rules, no headbutts, pulling hair, etc)

If anyone else tries something, like fighting immediately, they'll be ejected and most likely suspended. The bean ball is legal to an extent. So, that's why it is the retaliation of choice. The bean ball also comes an hour later because it wouldn't make sense to just bean the next player.

agreed 100%
the unwritten rulebook in baseball is the most absurd thing in all of sports

I'd guess that a beanball leading to a brawl would give the same suspension as just getting in a guy's face as he's disrespecting your team and possibly getting into a fight/brawl.
I'm not sure one would be worst than the other.

You're speaking my language now.
I have one friend who will just rant and rant about this, about a million times worse than me, lol.

You think it's okay to nail Robinson Cano after A-Rod hotdogs on a home run trot? Does that really sound sensible?

Uhh no. Not sure why you're asking me that, I made my thoughts pretty clear on this exact type of situation, lol.

You should be banned for using this word, its so fricking retarded.

People like teams to score points, its pretty fricking simple. Its also a QB league they carry the team. Its no different then the star treatment people in get in the NBA or the benefit of the doubt elite hitters and pitcher get in the box.

quote:Because people pointed out why the pitcher waits an hour to bean the guy, waiting for his turn in the order, and you dismissed it in favor of imemdiate retaliation. Which would be beaning the next player, since you advocated beanballs in your first post.

You made nothing clear, as your position keeps changing other than "baseball sucks"

Your calling for his being banned for using "pussified" is yet another sign in the long list of signs that point to the Pussification of America™.

Easily the NFL. QB's might as well wear red jerseys during games.

Cause it comes from that god awful show Walton and Johnston where a bunch of simpletons call in and bitch about the same thing over and over. As a conservative its insulting.
Not cause it has the puss in it.
