saints fans this year on this board have quadrupled if that tells us anything.

good thing this is primarily a Saints board, so we can accurately gauge the fanbase by analyzing its membership

then, this is more of a problem with espn and/or the gobs of "diehards" that entered the board the past month.

kinda hard to objectively judge a franchises loyalty compared to others when a) the stats tell otherwise and b) the "bandwaggonners" give the franchise a faulty image.

that upset over Louisville in the NCAA Tourney would have been pretty nice in 2005.

Portland has to be on there ahead of most of these

The Blazers sold out every game between 1977 and 1995 which is by far the longest in professional sports history

Also third highest in attendence in a fairly small market

judging an entire fan base off of one college message board doesn't really make much sense now does it?

I got my parents to check me out of school to watch that game. We came so fricking close to beating them, we were legit that year. Robert Lee fricked the program right in the dickhole.

sure it does.

those fans werent here last year.

they are this year

which proves those fans were not loyal.

im sure you, in particular, are loyal, but in general, the saints fans are not (at least comparatively)

so if the Raiders were to go on a run this year and tons of bandwagons fans appear that discounts the loyal, insane fanbase they've had for years?

That team was legit: Orien Green, Dwayne Mitchell (who's badass in the D-League), Tirus Wade, Brian Hamilton (who is in camp with the Nets).

That team was high flying and a lot of fun to watch.

yes.

you have to have some measure to judge loyalty.

it cannot just be "i say this, you say that, etc etc" with no evidence to back up each claim.

so what's your measure? if it's sellouts we've already proven you wrong in terms of the Saints.

you're confusing sheer numbers with loyalty

He was with Sacramento for the 07-08 year, I don't think he was on a roster last year.
