Ok, whats your point? The thread title is PRO FRANCHISE...not college. Cleveland is a very very loyal pro town. Do you know how hard it is to watch Cleveland sports when all you want is just one title....one. Cleveland has signature heartache that they make commericals out of....Red Right 88, The Drive, The Fumble, The Shot, the catch....Jose Mesa. Clevelanders still come out every week knowing of the heartbreak that happens every year. Just last year, the Cavaliers broke our hearts. It never ends but Cleveland fans are still there.

You act like a New Orleans franchise has won a title. We haven't even made it to the fricking Super Bowl.

I have not lived in New Orleans this decade but I see none of the diehard loyalty that you people are talking about. I was routinely given free tickets or majorly discounted tickets to the saints games. Sure they have a big following the last few years, but c'mon. These are the 'aints we are talking about!

statistically speaking we've sold all but one game this decade. and we've been awarded with two, TWO, winning seasons in that time.

I'm not bashing you for being a Browns fan or a Buckeyes fan

but bragging about supporting a team through years of them not winning anything... and then bragging about your other team winning a whole lot... is kinda funny

if you don't think the saints fan base is incredibly loyal then you're delusional

I'm also pretty sure that stat can not be correct because we haven't had a blackout in quite a while and there was most certainly a long waiting list for tickets last season

Since Stanfield’s arrival in 2000, the Saints have sold out every contest in the Superdome but one. Prior to the 2006 season, an innovative season-ticket marketing program fueled the rise to filling the stadium on a season-ticket basis. Fans on all economic levels were reached to both retain existing accounts and cultivate new ones, and those efforts have built a waiting list that has continued to grow for season tickets for the first time in franchise history.
