I'm sorry, I must not have got the memo that the Super Bowl is now part of the People's Choice Awards. It's not about who you want in it. It is about who earned the opportunity to be in it.

This 100 percent. I don't care for KC or Philly but I think this is a great Superbowl matchup. 1 seed vs 2 seed. 2 of the best teams this year. 2 of the best defenses. Should be a good one

I may want to watch it if I avoid the hype for the next 2 weeks, but that isn't hard to do.

This ranks as second to me only behind Patriots vs Rams in SB ( Rams getting in bc of the no call PI BS).

That’s the frustrating thing as a Saints fan. There’s little doubt the Saints would have won that SB vs the patriots. The patriots were very mediocre at that point in the season. The Saints were an eyelash away from 2-3 additional Super Bowl wins.

In the NFC Championship Game in 2018, Rams DB blew up Saints WR on the sideline in front of 2 refs. One was about to throw a flag and another waves him off. Bill Vinovich talks with the officials and says no penalty.

Saints would have gotten a first down. Run out the clock. Kick a short FG. Go to the SB. They would have beaten the Patriots that year. Refused to watch it and it was one of the lowest watched SB in the last 20 years.

New Orleans bars and restaurants played the SB win over the Colts that day to big crowds.

Are we sure about that after this weekend? Or is earned now a synonym for installed?

I don’t want to be the tin foil hat conspiracy guy, but I think I’m crossing over.

shite year for all of us. Dodgers-yankees Ohio state - notre dame Now chiefs - eagles Ah well, at least we have the nba wide open. Cleveland has a chance to go far.

And the NBA does suck, as one poster said. I can’t watch outside of my own team.

Packers-Steelers XLV

Two of the most recognizable franchises, traditional blue collar towns. Very marketable matchup.

I'd say the Cowgirls vs Bills rematch would be at the top. People were tired of the Bills showing up and getting curb stomped.

Was it inherently bad, or bad only in comparison to what we could have had (Steelers vs Niners, One For The Thumb)?

I don’t remember the vibe surrounding Super Bowl 32 with Green Bay and Denver, but I looked up that the Packers were 11 point favorites and Elway had been crushed in 3 previous SBs.
