Disclaimer, I don’t listen to sports talk radio or podcasts, so there may be some insight there that I haven’t heard.

The dude looks absolutely miserable and has for some time. Body language is terrible, very little interaction with his teammates, goes straight to the bench after each possession and seems completely detached. It’s almost like he hates football.

Hell, Goedert was giving him the business as he sat on the bench in the fourth quarter, and Hurts just stared straight ahead. Didn’t even acknowledge him.

If he wins that game, you’re probably here praising him for not getting too high or not getting too low during a game. I wouldn’t read too much into his body language.

He's stuck with a stubborn, maladaptive arse of a head coach.

No, even the most even-keeled guys get excited at times. That’s incredibly rare with Hurts.

Reminds me of Bill Callahan the year after the Raiders lost the Super Bowl only with more talent at QB. Players wound up hating him as a HC.

I believe he's seriously injured. I wouldn't be surprised if we hear about surgeries sometime soon.

He kind of always has the same demeanor winning or losing. It's kind of amplified when they are losing because it feels like more of a team drain instead of a team uplift disposition.

Also it feels like losing Shane Steichen isn't talked about enough.

He's facing the very limited shelf life of a running QB in the NFL.

Once they ban the tush push this offseason, he's done.

he's always been this way, fyi. i wonder if he's autistic or if he takes some medicine prior to games that causes him to be so mellow. Dude reminds me of Mark Zuckerberg in his robotness.

That's how he always is. He probably believes that emotions only get in the way of focus. He's got a lotta Saban in him.

I wonder what was said in that interaction with Goeddert.

Besides Devonta Smith, and Brandon Graham, the Eagles didn't look like they wanted to even be there. I can't remember the last time I saw a team start 10-1 and then turn into what we saw those last 7 games.

It kind of seems like the players don't particularly like their head coach.

Confluence of factors:

The Super Bowl loss hangover is real.

Teams start figuring your shite out.

Injuries.

Steichen loss.

Tougher schedule.

Had they not played in a weak division and not gotten their share of lucky breaks they could have missed the playoffs this year - it was always going to regress to the mean after last year’s magic run.

But Goedert had a different explanation for the incident after the game, telling reporters the discussion on the sideline was about a mistake he had made earlier in the game.

Goedert said today

telling reporters the discussion on the sideline was about a mistake he had made earlier in the game.

“I could have messed up a big play to [DeVonta Smith] early in the game, I think that’s what it was,” Goedert said. “It was my fault, I missed the sign… I was a little frustrated with myself, not Jalen at all. Me and him have a great relationship

People that constantly feel the need to read body language over television are odd. Unfortunately I have had hearing problems throughout my life and picked up on reading lips a bit and body language, and it's kind of comical to think all people have the same baselines.

Are you sure he’s not a good pocket passer?

He’s not a legendary passer.

But he seems pretty good.

He’s being bitched at by his primadonna WR AJB to throw him the ball and has a pumpkin for an OC

His HC is also an insufferable douche

I’d be miserable too
