Barbe with Dwight Collins, Natchitoches Central with Jesse Burton both beat us that year, but Catholic was better than both. We were a young D when we lost those games. Grew up a lot by the time we played Catholic. Oh and Tommy Banks had 150 carries that night to keep those two on the sidelines.

Haughton/Huntington- what's the difference, they both suck. I just remembered him and that the school started with an H.

Oak Hill Prep out of Virginia. The top 8 off of that team signed D1 basketball scholarships. 3 of the starting five were McDonald's All Americans.

2000 west Monroe national champs - A Whitworth senior year.

1999 Evangel national champs - Brock Berlin senior year.

1998 west Monroe national champs - Bradie James senior year.

We didn't make it to the Dome thanks to these teams.

Did I win?

Yep picayune, tallest guy on our team was prob 6'3... Bender dominated us he would come running through the lane and we would just get out of the way... Then he would pull it up 3 feet behind the three point line and drain them. By far best player i had to play against.. I played point guard and under 6' so yep if i was in harms way i would just step aside and let him do his thing.. Wasnt getn nuts in my face on a dunk

Played against Jesuit in baseball in the state tournament in 1980. All of their starting 9 signed scholarships eventually and they had Will Clark...

Bloomfield (CT) in football, 1995. They had Dwight Freeney and Andrew Pinnock. Both played in the NFL. Half our team were little Jewish guys.

Morgan City freshman basketball team in the mid 80s. I'm not even kidding.

Their two best players (Joey Brown and Dave Thompson) went to Georgetown and Syracuse. They beat us by 80 in a 24 minute game.
