Willy Korn was QB - Clemson
Marcus Lattimore was 8th grader or freshman, dont remember
Prince Miller - UGA and now Detriot Lions
Chad Diehl - Clemson and now with Baltimore Ravens
Everett Dawkins - FSU, in this year's NFL draft
Stanley Hunter - Clemson
Matt Quinn was 6'6" WR, went to Vandy
4 NFL'ers on damn high school team that has won like 8 of the last 11 South Carolina State Championships in the highest division in the state.
Got to watch:
Brandon Wright - UNC and 8th overall pick in 2007 NBA Draft
go up against
Thaddeus Young - GA Tech and 12th overall pick in 2007 NBA draft.
It was awesome to watch those two guys go after it. Young was much more physical, but I've never seen a speciman like Wright at the high school level. It wasn't fair.
Also, got to see Golden Tate (ND and Seattle Seahawks) and John Jenkins (Vandy and Atlanta Hawks) play in high school.

1998 Blount- they had DeMarco McNeil and Deandre Green on their team. Both of those guys went on to play at Auburn. No one could block McNeil to save their life, I mean no one.
1999 Alma Bryant- they had Rush Propst as their coach. Brandon Johnson was the tailback and he bascially would run over anybody. He went on to play at Auburn and was their fullback. I think he played the most during the 2002 season there. They also had Antwan Odom who went onto play from Alabama then in the pros with the Titans and Bengals I think.
We played them in like the sixth game of the year and they hadn't allowed a single point all season. They stomped us like 28-0. They didn't win state that year unlike the Blount team I listed above. They lost to Vigor in like the quarterfinal round. But to not allow a point until your ninth game of the year is damn impressive.

Milton high school in Florida. A lot of you are probably to young to remember Greg Allen. He was unstoppable. Fastest person I have ever seen and was Florida States all time leading rusher until Warrick Dunn came along.

We played West Monroe my junior year in the bi district playoffs , Andrew Whitworth was a junior that year for the Rebels and he was a man amongst boys even back then
A close second was when we played @ St Martinville in my sophomore season. They had a lineman named Daniel Leon who if I'm not mistaken signed with LSU but never hit the field for some reason . St Martinvilles team was stacked with tons of huge country strong dudes with gold "grills". We won with an interception late in the fourth quarter and the fans and players were extremely pissed after the game. Scariest bus ride ever
