I'd say we handed y'all 2 scores in the 1st half but oh we'll.
Where did those WRs go? Hear one went to Vandy?

In 1994, the best team I ever played against was in basketball when Hammond played Glen Oaks with Lester Earl and Corey Powell. I remember everything about that game.
At the time we were two top 5 schools playing. They were #1 and we were #5. The gym was packed like never before.
They came to our house and from the opening tip, Powell threw an alley oop to Earl from half court. The entire gym gasped when that happened. But we didn't let the starpower intimidate us. We eventually settled in and it was a great game. I think we held Earl under 10 points that game, but Powell had around 20 points.
We lost that game by 5. I scored 13.
Even though Glen Oaks was the best team, they didn't have the best player I ever played against. I played against Randy Livingston while he was was at Newman. He was by far the best. I remember that game vividly as well.
I remember going into halftime with an 8 point lead where R. Livingston only had 6 points at the half. The entire first half he was playing passively aggressive by trying to get his teammates the ball. We thought we were doing a good job on him defensively. I guess at halftime his coach told him the hell with that becuase in the second half he scored 32 points to finish with 38 for the game. We lost by 16. We couldn't stop him at all. Press, trap, double, triple team...it didn't matter, he still was able to do whatever he wanted to do.
We sat there in awe b/c we just couldn't believe how this guy just lit up us light that.

Montgomery Bell with Ingle Martin at QB/DB/K/P
Guy did it all and torched us. I specifically remember one series we held them and made them attempt a 53 yd fg. Thinking it was HS ball and the odds of making that were low, that was a moral victory for us. Felt even better when the snap was high. Made Ingle basically stop his approach to kick. Holder got it down, Ingle literally took one step and kicked it. It was good, and would have easily been good from 60.

I played against Kevin Faulk while he was at Carencro, but they weren't the best team in our deistrict that year. I think Carencro ended up 2nd or even 3rd that year.
Our district was stackkkkkkked.
