My strategy. Everyone always sits on tge first base side (home team, etc). I always sit on the 3rd base side, between the 3rd baseman and left fielder. You get a chance at all the foul balls from left handed hitters.

Club for me as well. I find it's the best view of the whole field and more bang for your buck than sitting close to the field.

Idk about Arlington, but at Minute Maid you can also buy beer until the final out if you're in club vs. 7th inning cutoff in the rest of the stadium. If that matters to you.

Depends on the stadium layout imo, both in terms of structure and surroundings. I prefer to sit down the first or third base line where I’m not blinded or melting with direct sunlight and have a great view of the stadium’s backdrop

hadn’t thought about heat aspect. 3:05PM Saturday game in June a bad idea? Or are there sections that are better for shade?

Been to several ballparks, Arlington is hands down the hottest by far. It was unpleasant and we went to a later game...I think it started around 600. Get in the shade for sure. Also, what I found interesting, you could bring any nonalcoholic drinks or food in that you wanted. Saw people with whole grocery bags full of stuff and small soft ice chests.

Sections behind home plate, try to get as close as possible. Typically it is the second tier, not the executive box in the first 3-5 rows

I have sat down the 3rd base and 1st base lines. It was nice sitting in the shade and I had a really good view.

Daytime I’d sit 3rd base line. Night game I’d sit 1st bass line

According to the Rangers, you’ll fry your balls off in the heat just thinking about going to that stadium...

Most miserable I’ve even been at a baseball game was in Arlington in the summer. It was so hot they were giving out free waters and everyone was packed into the tiny AC consession area

ETA they plastic seats were so hot you couldn’t sit on them

Ok, so this all has me rethinking plans. Can you buy suite tickets, or do you have to buy the whole suite?

If going to rangers game, sit on the first base side if it’s the summer. We go several times a year and if it’s hot, you’ll be in the shade for a 7:00 game. Last year, we went in late July early August. It was 101 at first pitch. Sitting in the shade with a nice breeze, it was pleasant.

Last summer I sat 2 rows from the first base dugout during a game against the Blue Jays. It was hot and I ended up getting sunburned but I wouldn't say it was the worst heat I've been in.

Get there early, walk to Jack Daniels bar. Get a table overlooking the field, order an appetizer, milk a few drinks, leave a nice tip.

This Web site helps you pick shaded seats based on a specific game.

I like to sit down whatever baseline is opposite of my teams dugout so I can see into it and watch the players and coaches interact.

I’ve bought tickets for a Rangers game 3 times. 2 of those times the game was rained out.
