If we weigh everything this would have to be near the top.

This is quite amazing.

Chipper Jones is the only switch-hitter in baseball history to finish his career with a .300 batting average, .400 OBP and .500 slugging percentage.

If Wayne Gretzky never scored a goal, he'd still be the all-time points leader in the NHL.

More men have walked on the surface of the moon (12) than have scored an earned run against Mariano Rivera in the postseason (11)

Walter Johnson beat 34 different pitchers 1-0.
Johnson lost three times to one pitcher 1-0, that pitcher was Babe Ruth.

Whitey Ford, Pedro Martinez, and Lefty Grove are the only Hall of Fame pitchers with a better winning percentage than Babe Ruth.

The basketball team with the most offensive rebounds wins something like 90 percent of the games.

Ruth still holds the AL record for shutouts by a LHP (9), tied with Ron Guidry.

They got some crazy Greg Maddox stats out there.

One that I saw that was pretty crazy was in 1997 Greg Maddux had only one more BB (20) than he had wins (19). Crazy stuff

Marciano vs Louis

My all-time favorite boxing picture is the one where Marciano knocks out Jersey Joe Walcott in the 13th round of their title fight.

Jersey Joe was ahead on all cards when Rocky maneuvered him toward the ropes and unleashed a thunderous overhand right that totally distorted Jersey Joe's face and knocked him out cold.

He was out before he hit the canvas in a kneeling position with his left arm hung up on the middle rope. Then he slowly face planted and the ref could have counted him out with a sun dial as he was out cold.

Joe Louis took that fight with Rocky far too late in his career and by then his best years were behind him. Rocky KO'd Louis and really didn't feel too good about KO'ing one of his heroes.

That day when the streak was over at 56.
DiMaggio would start a new 16-game hit streak, eventually hitting safely in 72 of 73 games.
