This.

Had to reevaluate how I watch sports after that debacle.

Thank God for redemption/vengeance the very next year.

1/9
When Marshawn Lynch literally turned the entire Saints defense into his bitch

LSU losing to Bama in 2012 and 2014

LSU losing to Iowa in capital one bowl was really tough.

The Saints bonehead play last night.

But for me 2012 definitely takes the cake. I basically went through the 5 stages of grief. First i was angry, then I was in disbelief, then i started crying, then I started laughing, then I got mad again, then I stopped caring. And then i got even more mad so I punched walls and stuff. Finally my roommate calmed me down while bringing me pizza, at which case I ate and cried myself to sleep.

I don't think it's possible for one to take a loss worse than I took that one. I was as pitiful as Chavis 2 minute defense.

1/9 didn't really bother me because how Bama dominated us so bad... now if Bama would have done to us what they just did to UGA I would have been more upset...

I would say my biggest melt was in 1982 when we beat the crap out of Bama and then lost To MSU at home... and then beat FSU in dominating fashion and turned around and lost to Tulane.... that year could have been special if not for those heartbreaking losses....

I've had plenty of traumatizing moments as a Vikings and Wisconsin fan.

- Gary Anderson
- Blair Walsh
- Brett Favre
- Michigan State hailmary
- 2014 Final Four
- 2015 National Championship
- 2016 Sweet 16
- 2017 Sweet 16
- 2010 Rose Bowl
- 2016 B1G Championship
- 2017 B1G Championship

There's probably more. All of these were swift kicks to the nuts.

It is probably one of these 3 as someone working in sports.

vs Bradley in the MVC Tournament Semis when dude hit a wrong handed wrong way turn around jumper to beat us as buzzer sounded. I just walked off the court cussing everyone.

vs UNI in regular season at home (had not beaten them in 10 years) we got called for a facemask to let them kick a game winning field goal as time expired.

vs North Texas guy leg whips our Safety causing him emergency surgery due to way he landed on his arm causing brachial artery to be cut. Of course we fell apart that night and they kick a FG to tie it, season unraveled then. I hated Fouts Field ever since.

As a fan
The Dez catch ruled a no catch.
The Tyus Edney bullshite dash up the court and Norm Stewart being a bitch not fouling.
UGA LSU SECCG in 05 when DJ Shockley played like a man for once. JaMarcus gets hurt and Flynn comes in throws a pick 6 to seal it.

But all those do not top Don Denkinger I swear to god he was out and everyone in the world but Denkinger knew he was out

I really didn't meltdown after 28-3, was just devastated.

Closest I have been to truly melting down was probably the infield fly game vs the Cards or the 49ers NFCCG a few years back

We are not allowed to speak of that game, I have forgotten that game and made a deal with the devil to not have it anywhere in my long term or short term memory.

My heart as a kid shattered on 12/18/83. Never fully recovered

Rams 26
Saints 24

fricking Mike Lansford last second FG. Was good by a foot. Saints lost out on their first winning season and playoff berth.

The "best" thing about that loss? The Rams' 23 points before the FG were on 2 pick sixes, one punt return, and a safety.

I stopped believing in God for a while. I was convinced that the Saints would NEVER make the playoffs.

Niners Ravens Super Bowl

It was a culmination that started with 1/9, the brutal NFCCG loss to the Giants the year before, and then LSU-Bama 2012. I lost it.

Like to add Leon lett thanksgiving and Roy Williams tgiving fumbles

The Leon lett one was so memorable because of the snow storm in Texas. The saints dB yeasterday is one thing, but the stupidity in Leon lett was unreal. So much melt in one house
