there are two professional leagues. MLL for outside, NLL for inside/box lacrosse.

With hardly any fanfare.

Incomparable skill sets. Baseball obviously requires a great deal of coordination and precision. Lacrosse does too to a slightly lesser extent but must be executed through contact and at a faster pace.

Exactly. Being totally and completely unathletic (in the general sense) is a non starter for lacrosse.

it's definitely more of a college fanbase for lacrosse. pro is more gimmicky IMO. the two point line and all is stupid. Memorial Day weekend is always packed.

MLS is averaging 20,000 fans, making it one of the better attended leagues in the world. It's doing extremely well considering where it was in 1996.

Exactly. Which is why these discussions are always invariably stupid. Cross-sport comparisons are usually impossible to make, unless talking about a specific player who has played both sports at a high level.

Yes it is. I'm also the one that made the lacrosse players 10x more athletic than baseball players.

One need only attend collegiate level games from respective sports to see the difference. Baseball is slow paced and doesn't require anything more than a straight line sprint once an inning, lacrosse is sprinting back and forth for entire quarter.

So are you talking SKILL or ATHLETICISM.

They're very different.

Might be the most ignorant thing said in this thread.

try to sprint down the right side of the goal and stick a shot on the run bottom left of the cage and then tell me how you don't need coordination or precision

Then you are stupid.

God this is wrong on so many levels. You're essentializing and misrepresenting both sports. Because they require different athletic traits and skill sets does not make one superior to the other.

I played lacrosse in college, so spare me. I never said you didn't need coordination and precision. You obviously need a lot of it.

just about. even in the half field offense/defense, you're constantly running, changing direction, making cuts, give and go's, etc.

Of course there are stops, as there are in every sport. Additionally, rarely can 1 player play the entire game (save the goalie and some attackmen/defenders), its the difference between active and sedentary sports.

right, but not sprinting! come on, man...I have seen enough of lacrosse to know that there is a lot of standing around/jogging than sprinting...perhaps 10x more....
