I would've agreed but there seem to be far more new eyes on these games than not.

which doesn't really speak to the quality of the product. something like gangam style has a billion streams but it doesn't make it a better piece of music than beethoven

And at what point does this increased compensation threaten the NFL, forcing them to react?
lol. The NFL can do it in a sustainable way, because it's directly linked to the TV money they're getting.
The college players money is coming from boosters. And for all intents and purposes, very few of these NIL deals provide them an actual monetary return. It's not sustainable

College football is most popular primarily in the South and Midwest.

The NFL is popular across the entire country and other parts of the globe.

NFL players receive a pension as long as they’ve played at least 3 years in the league.

College Football will never be able to “challenge” or threaten the NFL.

You mean exactly like how the revenue share works?

~40% comes from boosters. And revenue sharing is capped in $, not % of revenue.

Agree, but fans don't pay the NIL, donors do. Which makes it all the more crazy.

The top reported qb contract in college thus far is the Sorsby 5 mil. NFL qbs make 50 mil. Not in this realm will college players make more than their NFL counterparts.

The fact that a guy who’s pretty unproven in big time college football will be making more than the QB of the AFC’s number 1 team is pretty insane to me.

Then transfer restrictions can be enacted. Make it as a part of their agreement when they accept a scholarship at any institution.

Who is implementing these restrictions? Why would any high end player agree to being restricted?

Medical professionals will be establishing protocols for full body MRI and other tests to find out just exactly how damaged the players are once they chose to leave college.

They’ll just go to whatever school that has a better (less restrictive) offer.

Ncaa has next to zero power

They’d get slapped down immediately.

FIFY. Ratings and iirc attendance are at all time highs. We have 3 teams in the final four that have never won a NC.
