I already said Lakers are in a tricky spot here dude

Fair enough.

The other point on Ingram is: Even without health issues, Dude is going to command a salary he won't be worth. He has this year coming up at around 9mil with a qualifying offer. That salary is a bargain, but after that, he is going to want around 18-20 a year, which he isn't remotely worth (even more so if you bring in his health issues), but some team will give him. If I am the Pels, he is a player that I am staying FAR away from unless I treat him as a 1 year filler to free up cap room for 20-21 season. That means he is not considered a main asset of any trade with the Lakers in my mind. Let someone else have that headache.

Now Kuzma, Hart and Ball become the heart of your trade deal that you throw in with the #4 pick. Ball doesn't want to be in NOLA, so he's worthless. Kuzma basically said the same thing. Can't trust he'll be worth it.

That leaves the trade in 3-5 years as #4 pick 2019 and Hart (maybe still around) for Anthony Davis? No thanks. Given the Zion pick, it might be better to just let Davis walk and free up the cap space than take the Lakers deal. Increase in flexibility in signing big FAs while building through the draft.

Lakers are in a tough spot yes. The problem is the Pels don't have a whole lot of motivation to help them out of it at this point.

The only thing wrong with this argument is you are assuming worst case scenario for Lakers players and best case scenario for every other teams players.

What if the assets from the Knicks or Boston don’t want to be there either? What makes Tatum or whomever the Knicks are sending worth the contract they might want over Brandon Ingram?

Most importantly, what if AD says he’s signing nowhere but Lal?

big baller rescinded comments slamming the small market teams. I'm pretty sure of that. Kuz really does love la though, yes.

I don't really think lake show totally want to trade these guys anyways. that's the rub here.
but if they I do. I think it's a great offer for pels

Oh I just think you’re a moron in general, not necessarily solely for thinking the lakers offer is best

You can also barely type coherent thoughts yet we are to believe you’re an nba insider.

That's fair.

But also important to note that that playoff appearance was their only apperance from 1995 until 2014.

We certainly can't compare GS to NO. They won titles a long arse time ago. They had Run TMC. who were woefully overrated. But nonetheless they had something in their history whereas the Pels don't really have much of anything.

But his overarching point is correct. Since, say, 1980 GS has absolutely been an afterthought in the NBA world until this current team got together.
