Holy shite

Try making up shite like that with someone who didn't use to play a weekly game of ball with posters .

Also, tackles are not a good stat to use, especially from eras before about 10 years ago. If you don't know why, you can look it up.

I mean if you are just running to the ball without regard to scheme or gap responsibilities it’s going to inflate your numbers.

The rest of the team was playing 10 man defense because he was rogue on most downs.

Now if you want to pick a guy to cut loose it’s LT, but it’s a factor in considering who he was as a historical player.

That’s not true, if just running around doing whatever you want inflates your numbers everyone would do it. You rack up numbers in the run game by being where you’re supposed to be and playing assignment football.

No everyone cant do it because it exposes key weaknesses in your defense.

They let LT do it because he had otherworldly talent and he wouldn't listen to them if they tried so they basically played 10 man scheme looks and told him to kill the guy with the ball.

Three pages deep and not a single mention of the greatest NFL Fullback to ever play-------Jim Brown.

He's the standard all other are held up to.
