This is probably the best Week Zero game we’ve gotten since they started it, but I still miss the first game being on a Thursday night. Nothing beat hauling arse to the bar after work to watch Mississippi State-FAU, with the whole weekend of football ahead. Week Zero stretches it out too far, IMO.

Do they expect team reporters to just outright say they suck? I'm pretty sure even a school like Akron is going to have reporters try to focus on the positives before going into a season
