I get that, but it's something to do. On ESPN. Never know how many Irish might say, eh might as well drop 70 euros on this. Like if a cricket game was in Dallas, Im sure you'd get at least some Americans going.

This is crappy football. Fumbles, penalties. Just ugly.

Very sloppy. I wonder how many days they got to acclimate to 7 hour time shift.

I can't imagine how bad TR would get if LSU started off like this right here. $18,000,000 FOR THIS!!?????

Guarandamntee you they'd rather take that €70 and spend it in their local.

First game of the year in a foreign country.

What I have noticed is the K-State DL is getting in the backfield too much. If that keeps happening this is going to get away from Iowa State fast.

Especially when your QB tosses it back at about 80 mph.

It's raining there too.

Barion Brown has 6 KO returns for TDs. AA and Zavion Thomas have 1 each I believe. We will definitely have multiple KO's returned for TDs this year.

First game of the year, in Ireland in the rain. Can we give them a second before it’s a “shitshow”

Disagree, I guarantee you there are some Irish there. I'd guess at least 30-40%. There aren't going to be 52,000 Kansas St and Iowa St fans that drop prob $5,000+ for a family trip. Prob $10,000+ if they have larger families.

The kstate coach is pissed they’re even here for this big game. You can see it in his face.

Welp, happy to admit I'm wrong when I'm wrong. AI supports your assessment:
quote:

Approximately 49% of the fans attending the Iowa State vs. Kansas State football game in Dublin are expected to be American travelers . The Aviva Stadium, which is hosting the game, has a capacity of 49,000. With over 24,000 American fans traveling for the game, this means the remaining attendees are likely Irish locals interested in the sport. Based on current information, the exact breakdown of Kansas State fans compared to Iowa State fans who bought tickets is not yet publicly available. However, both universities have dedicated sections in the stadium for their supporters, with Kansas State fans in the West Stand and Iowa State fans in the East Stand according to Ticketmaster Ireland.
