Those first 2-3 losses you guys have this coming season are going to be great but they won’t quite hit the spot like your 4th and 5th losses.
And if you’re going to try to have a logical conversation about a topic, try not to show you obvious bias against a school in the convo lol.

The NCAA used to deny kids transfers when their mother was dying of brain cancer in their home town. Now we have this.
What a stupid structure.
What a stupid structure.

I've gotta think this will set some sort of precedent moving forward. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Pretty wild to sign a contract and then try to bail a few days later. I hope there's some sort of consequence that Williams will face that will deter this in the future.
Not sure if something will happen to him as things stand as is. As an LSU fan it would be great to bring him on board but at the same time this shite is absolutely out of control. Something needs to happen to help balance this all out. It’s absurd.

The bigger question is why everyone is paying him so much
More importantly he just fricked over udub. Any qb they get won’t be a 3rd year qb in Fisch’s offense which is pretty detrimental to their next season.
Oops….

Except that Noah Fifita is going to go there now.

Oregon is beating them regardless.

that’s when these programs will get together and say no more unlimited transfers.
Yea they tried that already. Got their doors blown off like 37 times and counting.

They should keep him out of CFB if they can.
Not a single judge is issuing an injunction preventing a player from playing as a remedy for breach of contract. That's insane.
Also, what are UW's damages here? Remember, the Big 10 rev share form contract is EXPLICITLY NOT pay for play. It's an NIL deal.

He said he’s returning to AZ, but I guess we shall see if his word is better than Demond’s

Congrats on your team going 2-21-1 against LSU all-time.

Eventually the wrong player is going to piss off the wrong program and that’s when these programs will get together and say no more unlimited transfers.
That would be the NCAA who could give a frick about member schools. They are more worried about ensuring their own existence than actually governing. There are also legal ramifications in changing portal rules due to a recent court settlement they agreed to. They have to be the most inept and toothless entity in existence.

Some soy boys in here very mad about 78-68 but you shouldn’t let your insecurities continue to take away from the subject of the thread. Take your stupidities to your own board where they belong.

No contact means he already has a destination in mind which is tampering. Eventually the wrong player is going to piss off the wrong program and that’s when these programs will get together and say no more unlimited transfers.
Or it means “I’ll contact you, you don’t contact me.”

What damages? 5 days missed out in the portal?
It will depend on the language in the contract. My assumption is LSU is offering enough to justify whatever penalties are in the contract plus the pay raise.
However, Washington isn't the bad guy for trying to recoup whatever they are owed per the contract.
They also aren't the bad guy if they feel rules a being broken on the tampering front. If LSU feels like they have been tampered with they are within their rights to do the same.

What’s insane about it? They should.

Because it’s punitive and not reasonable or equitable in any way shape or form?
