The 2012 ND team would have never made it to the final if there had been a 12 team tournament that year.

I really don't get trash talking like that while on a playoff run.

How rich is that comment?

Some of you don’t even wait until the season opener.

How about going back to peruse this message board throughout the month of Aug and read all of the trash talking by LSU fans…right up until the yearly season opening loss.

It seems to be a new tradition for LSU to trash talk as much as possible before losing their season opener.

No.

They were just outmatched.

Just like every other NC appearance since 88.

Which is why Kelly left.

Sure he will. Even in a loss, the Irish were on a national stage last night and made a game of it. They aren’t going anywhere.

I would take this bet any day of the week. I do not think the Irish will be within one possession in the 4th quarter for a natty for a long time.

I actually think they win it next year. They have a lot coming back.

Defense won’t be as good, but still great. Offense should be better if Carr lives up to his ND fan hype.

I think OSU, LSU, and UGA will all be better. Oregon and Texas should be tough too. ND would be my preseason 4 or 5.

I would imagine the actual football team gives zero shits about Brian Kelly. Much less it effecting how they played.

LSU’s greatest victory since Covid is Ohio State beating Notre Dame by 11 in the national championship.

I, for one, am glad you're letting it out. The last month must have hurt bad.

All of these teams would get worked by former elite teams.
