2004 was his best season
2001 he has 73 HR and a career high 11.9 WAR
2004 he was just walked intentionally a freakish amount. in 2001 he was hitting HRs a freakish amount.

Now I can agree about Griffey. Those 3 seasons tell me that he is better
Than Bonds.

Bonds from 1991-1993 was better than any three year run of Griffey's career. If you add 1990 and make it a four year run, it isn't close.

The Mick from '56-'58 wasn't too shabby.

Albert Belle 1994-96
Averaged 112/45/125 despite 1994 and 1995 being strike-shortened. 1.085 OPS.
That's way better than Wright, but still doesn't touch some of the greatest.

Barry Bonds had a 1.361 OPS from 2002-04
Bonds had a higher OPS than Wright did in 2006 and 2007, and those were the last two seasons in his career

I said offensive three year stretch not pitching or defensive stats.
Speaking of defensive stats. Wright also won gold glove awards. He could hit and field really well.

Who remembers baseball from 15-17 years ago?

1/10. Try harder. But can't you suck as a poster.

Speaking of mid2000s Chipper
Paul Waner (1927) and Chipper Jones (2006) jointly hold the longest hitting streak for extra bases. Both players recorded extra-base hits in 14 consecutive games.
That was a cool record to tie. I’m a Cards fan so not a huge Braves fan but all my friends were at the time so watched a lot of their games. Chipper was as locked in as any MLB player I’ve ever seen during that 2006 streak. Several of those games he had multiple XBHs.

Maris had a good three year run to start the 60s

I'm a Mets fan and love D Wright, but the answer is No.
Barry Bonds is the answer
Nobody even the aces didn't want to pitch to him.
The only time I've seen an intentional walk w/ the bases loaded. That Giants team was good they should have got a ring.
