No

I'd take Rod Woodson 10 times out of 10 times over Deion. I'd take Mike Haynes, C. Woodson and Mel Blount on par with Deion.

Deion Sanders is the best cornerback to ever play. He, Jerry Rice and LT are the only 3 unquestionable top players at their positions of alltime. He’s as rare a player that has ever been in the NFL.

Based on what?
Woodson has better stats and was a better all around player..

Woodson also switched to safety when he was old as shite and still was very good. He certainly wasn’t too puss to come up and tackle…

That would be like saying, "Ozzie Smith was the greatest shortstop in major league history. Yeah, he refused to throw it to 1st, but he was a magician with the glove."
Interesting comparison since Ozzie was pedestrian at the plate compared to other Shortstops.

Rod Woodson was the best NFL DB I watched growing up.
Same.
But I'm also a Steelers fan so I'm a little biased.

Champ was a stud. Definitely 1B.

If starting a team, give me Darrell Green at CB

Deion may be a bit overrated as a corner, not to say he wasn't great, though.
The thing about Deion was his athleticism was phenomenal even at a position that is known for athleticism.
His tackling was not great and he is probably as responsible as anyone for the big hit, don't wrap up style of tackling getting so popular.
If he did get his hands on the ball, though, the excitement was palpable. That was the thing with Deion, always the possibility of an exciting play.
What he was (and maybe still is) absolutely the best at, though, was self-promotion. In large measure, I say that because he could do it and still come off as likable. I normally don't like self-promotion but I still find myself liking Deion.

Deion hated contact, which is why he is lower in tackles and leads in pick sixes and kick returns. You can’t hit what you can’t catch.

I would take A LOT of CBs before Deion - he shunned contact. It's football. If you shun contact you're a liability. Mel Blount, Rod Woodson, and some others we could name - these guys shut down entire sections of the field in both the run game and passing game.
My recollection is that Prime got bullied, physically. Seems some of those guys like Terrell Owens, Jerry Rice, and others would block him easily, push him around etc. And I can't recall a single time where he took on a blocker or RB. I think Bo Jackson slammed him to the ground once with a stiff arm. There were QBs that ran him over. QBs seemed to be the only people he would try to take on, and that seemed to rarely go well for him.
He was pretty soft. Super talented but go watch guys like Mel Blount and compare.

What did Sanders do better?
Woodson has many more tackles, interceptions, tds, fumble recoveries.. how/where was Sanders better?
Numbers wise they are not particularly close.. maybe if you throw in receiving and returns, but that has nothing to do with being a CB..

If you are voting on the most complete corner, Woodson is the choice and its a no brainer. Similar cover skills as Prime, MUCH better at the other aspects of playing the position. Incredible tackler, was great at blitzing, creating turnovers both by INTS AND strips from tackling, special defender. Prime was an exceptional athlete and created the "brand" more, dynamic return man, but Woodson is the best to have played the position.
Bailey belongs in the conversation for sure, but I would put him a VERY small notch below Prime.
Now, if the question is REALLY who is the better cover corner, which is what I think people really mean to ask (once again, its Woodson/no brainer if you consider ALL aspects of the position) when they ask this question, THEN it is tough, as Prime's cover skills were elite, but I would put Woodson right up there with him, Revis in his prime too, with Bailey close behind.

Rod Woodson was better than Deion IMO. Not trying to be incendiary.
I agree with this. Deion danced. Literally danced. He was a notations self promoter at a time of advertisement and personal branding. Deion was a great player and probably 2 on my list behind Woodson. But Rod Woodson was the better DB overall. Woodson also returned kicks IIRC, but Deion was better at that.
I’d probably rank them:
Rod Woodson
Deion Sanders
Champ Bailey
Charles Woodson
Aeneas Williams
Darrell Green
