I haven't been following this story too closey, and others I'm sure have mentioned this, but what did the Titans know? Maybe Vrabel was fired only partially due to wins and losses.

Random thought I just had.
Yall know how Vrabel calls out the female reporter first at every press conference? Smart move by him considering it gets him a lot of goodwill from the media and people on social media think “oh he seems like a good guy”
It always struck me as out of character for him. I’d bet Russini told him to start doing that

I've been trying to find it, but there was a thread in the Titans subreddit a long time ago where a poster said he saw Vrabel and Russini out at some restaurant in Nashville and the vibe was that they were definitely more than friends. Another poster backed it up saying he had seen them out before too, and that he was surprised at how brazen they were.
Pretty sure one of the mods thought it was a troll and might've deleted it, but it only fueled the speculation that Vrabel was banging Russini among Titans fans.
If the Titans knew about the relationship and thought there was a possibility that Russini's kid was Vrabel's, I could see it being a pretty big factor in firing him. Trying to hold onto a coach who went 7-10 and 6-11 consecutively probably wasn't worth the potential PR disaster.

So obviously this story isn't your prototypical "female reporter sleeping around to get ahead in her career".
It's actually just two married scumbags in a hidden relationship where they may or may not have a kid together. And if the kid isn't Vrabel's, then there is a whole other level to this story where an NFL coach has a pregnant woman fetish.
