You’re greatly underestimating this story. He and Russini lied to their employers and he embarrassed the Patriots by coming out so strongly denying it, one PR disaster after another

While it’s not surprising, the bad look is because of her position and the constant lying. It reminds me of the baseball steroid era. If you owned it and apologized, nobody cared. When you lied and ruined other lives, it essentially kept you from HoF consideration.

If anyone thinks this affects the locker room or his relationship with the players, they are mistaken. If anything, it enhances it. A majority of the players have side pieces or multiple baby mamas. This only becomes a thing if the Pats stumble out of the gate. They start 4-1, this episode is ancient history.

The most impactful thing about this for Vrabel professionally is how the media will treat him. The players won’t care, but it’s a public facing job.
If he wins like Belichick, the media treatment won’t matter, but it will matter if he’s just moderately successful.

Everyone knows what he did. He admitted to it. Patriots gave him his punishment by sending him to sex therapy for a day. The crowds legit cheered him when he came back. Nobody in the Patriots organization cares, especially with an owner that got more happy endings than Desaun Watson.

Man Russini is showing to be a terrible human. To cheat on your husband is one thing. To name your son after the man you are cheating on your husband with is next level diabolical.

The negatives outweigh the positives. For every dude that wants to bro down with Vrabel, there’s a guy in the locker room with Christian values or a guy that is simply capable of honoring a marriage. I’m not saying they won’t play as hard or that Vrabel is on the hot seat, but this isn’t some situation where the locker room chemistry improves.

And I think there are a decent amount of actual men in that organization who will have a huge issue with this.
Cheating on your wife, lying to everyone, banging a pregnant side piece, denying it when its been going on for year, etc.
As a man I lose respect for that individual. Thats not how leaders act.
