Guerrero hasn’t played in the majors since 2011 when he batted .290/.317/.416 with 13 home runs and a .733 OPS with the Orioles. He had a brief stint in the minors with the Blue Jays in 2012, but eventually asked for his release after he wasn’t called up to the majors. It was reported earlier this year that he was planning to join the independent Long Island Ducks, but that effort never really got off the ground.
A nine-time All-Star, Guerrero will walk away from the game with a .318 career batting average to go along with 2,590 hits, 449 home runs, and 1,496 RBI. He won an MVP Award in 2004 as a member of the Angels. While he ultimately fell short of his goal of 500 home runs, he would still seem to have a pretty good shot at being enshrined in Cooperstown. If it happens, one would think he’d be wearing an Expos cap.

Oe of my favorite non-Braves....He had a cannon.

I wish he could have played a little longer, but it's obvious his knees were gone from spending all those years on the turf in Montreal.
He was unique. You won't see anyone like him again. I was happy to see him play live quite a few times.

you'd think with his no strike zone approach at the plate he wouldve hit less efficiently. kinda surprising. and holds the gold standard for OF cannons

One of my favorite non-Astro players growing up

He was always my first pick on Triple Play's fantasy draft. His contact was off the charts.

Really enjoyed watching Vlad. Now that I think of it also, Puig kinda reminds me of Vlad. Both have a cannon for an arm and a no strike zone approach at the plate.

It a shame that someone would say this about Vlad, but then probably consider Ichiro a lock. Vlad was so much better than Ichiro it's ridiculous.

One if the most exciting players I ever had the privilege to watch.

Watched that dude at an expos spring training long toss from foul pole to foul pole with the ease and effortlesness of backyard toss with the old man after school." Cannon" doesnt do his arm justice.....

he's borderline, but on the yes side of the borderline.
And were not exactly sure he was clean. Latin american players are dirty as they come.
i don't blame them, it's either living in a slum, or trying to make it at baseball. The agents over there are the instigators of juicing, but the teams know whats going on and they know the agents.
If he gets in, the Crime Dog has to get in. Crime dog was 100% clean, and came out against juicing and greenies. He said, if you have to do greenies to get up and play a sport, then you should find a new career. Said it's 10000 times worse, the abuse, than roids.

No he isn't.
Unless they find out he was taking showers with little boys or shooting up on the bench he is headed to Cooperstown.
.318 lifetime average with 450 Hrs & 1500Rbis, 9 time all star, & MVP.
