Good. Privately owned business. They shouldn't have to forfeit a game over the guy's feelings about the vaccine.

Yeah and now the elites have adjusted the virus to where it's attacking unvaccinated people. Sickening behavior. Can't wait for the storm to come.

If you’re vaccinated, you’re safe. Why should you care what the unvaccinated choose to do?

Any business faced with letting go a non essential employee who could cost ownership and employees millions of dollars would be considered irresponsible if they didn’t.

I disagree. If a staff or coach doesn't get vaccinated they are fired. They have the freedom to not get vaccinated and the team has the right to find someone else. It's quite simple and clean. Can you imagine Tom Landry or Bill Parcels or Bill Belichick being fine with potentially forfeiting a game over some assistant coach's feelings about the vaccine?

But what about their feelings about the vaccine? They don't feel safe about the vaccine?

Unvaccinated coaches aren't allowed to be on the field. What good is he to the org?

Then he should sue the league and the players association for the double standard in working conditions. Either everyone has to get it or no one should be forced to be vaccinated. It is beyond ridiculous that players are being treated differently.

I don’t believe in requiring it, but if you are going to, everyone should be required.

I can’t believe this still has to be explained

You have a 95% efficacy vaccine

Only 50% of people take it

That means 55% of the population give or take can still get infected. That’s enough hosts for the virus to survive, thrive, mutate multiple times, completely render the vaccine useless, and you are back to square one

If 90% take it, that means 15% of the population give or take can still get infected. That’s not enough hosts for the vaccine to survive and mutate and it’s stamped out

I don’t think it should be mandated, but their is an obvious purely factual scientific meaning why the number of people vaccinated matters

When you sign a contract and you say you will follow directives of your employer and do not, well sorry. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. The Vikings did nothing to infringe on his rights or his ability to earn a living.

And? When you fire someone because they can’t run as fast, or coach as good, that’s discrimination too

Assistant coaches don't get contracts like that. They get paid well, but unless you're a superstar assistant or seen as a potential head coach you don't get guaranteed contracts as assistant coaches. Just like how the lumber yard can fire you for not wearing steel-toed shoes the NFL can fire an assistant coach for not getting the vaccine.

Not following your employers rules gets you fired in every setting across America so I’m not sure why this one has you hot and bothered

It is in no way discrimination, unless he can provide a valid acceptable medical or religious exemption.

People do not read the constitution or labor law very well it seems.
