Is the guy who missed him one of the best drivers in the world?
Does he have a history of getting into confrontations ON the track with competitors?
Was he involved in this altercation?
Yeh TS was coming back to the guys car he just put in the wall and it never crossed his mind that the guy may try to confront him on the next pass. Y'all are so naive
You can't put a guy away for murder based on faulty inference.

No way TS or anyone thought this dude would be foolhardy enough to come storming into oncoming traffic at those speeds. Confrontation was likely, but what Ward did is a rare occurrence, even moreso in that type of racing environment.
TS still would have been aware that he was in the same corner that he wrecked the guy.

Idiots in this thread think these sprint cars steer like the standard vehicle

Examples taken over decades of guys getting out of their car. We've already concluded that we were talking about different things. I would still call that rare though. Much more often, you'll see guys fight in the garage or in the pit. They rarely go after each other on the track. A "few examples" does not change that... if anything, it proves it.

A personal bias against TS isn't proof.

Not the same track but this gives you ideal of how much dirt and dust you have to deal with, this is maybe a 1/2 of a lap.

Look at those cars go all over the track... impossible!

(again if that is his acceleration we hear) goes with the rear kick out. Jmo
Imagine this was caused by either dragging a body or having body parts between a traction tire and the track surface.
Also think this is what got people riled in the first place, but most likely the contact caused the vehicle movement.

Says the one who has to debate the meaning of words, the exact circumstances, twist words, etc to make his point

The only possible thing would be if the track crew was telling him in his ear that the other guy was out of his car and standing in the track. They have one way radios that race officials can tell them things.

They were going full speed there doofus

Come one, man. You have done exactly this. Don't act innocent.

This cars look hard as shite to handle
The dude is wearing all black
He is literally running into the middle of the track towards Tony Stewarts car
TS is going around a turn on a dirt track, so his car is sliding a little bit
How can anyone really say he did this on purpose?

Seemed like Tony accelerated right towards his direction. Why would you accelerate to avoid something/someone? Need more video evidence but I think Tony fricked up here. I've seen drivers, even Stewart, run up to cars before and not get run over.
Only Tony Stewart truly knows if he could have done a better job of avoiding him. It's something he will have to live with for the rest if his life. He played a part in a young man losing his life.

Which still doesn't mean he or anyone else expected Ward to exit his ride. Other drivers had to swerve to miss him. It's not like TS was going any faster than the others who'd just finished, either.

And complete control suddenly happens as they slow down.

When did they transition to radios in the cars? I couldn't imagine trying to hear a damn thing haha.
